Privacy

convertfile converts on your device. The apps never upload a file.

  • Your files stay on your device. Apple’s engines and convertfile’s own convert them on your Mac, iPhone or iPad. convertfile has no server that could receive them.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.
  • History stays where it was made. Recent is kept on the device that did the conversion and is never synced.
  • Analytics, behind a switch. With Privacy on in Settings, convertfile counts which recipes run and how long they take. Never a file, a file name or what is in it.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple. We see no card and no Apple ID.
  • This website has no accounts and no trackers, and you upload nothing to it.
